An exhibition of work by five artists: Sophie Paskins, Sharon Irving-Kennedy, Ted Lind, Wayne Boucher, and Donna Boyko.
Building abstract paintings involves a myriad of errors, wrong turns, corrections and resolutions. Abstract painters paint the way we all lead our lives-building on and rebelling against the givens and the choices, the purposeful actions and the accidents. For viewers, an abstract painting, then, offers the perfect visual metaphor for life. If viewers are able to stop and pay attention in front of an abstract painting they can tranfer what they get from the looking to better appreciate their own vitality.
